How do you share your files from your external Hard Drive on your home Network?
My roommates and I all share an internet connection on one network at our apartment. How do I allow them to pull files off of my external Hard Drive through our network? We are able to see each other’s computer and access each other’s files that are shared on each of our main Hard Drives, but when they need to get files off my external hard drive they aren’t allowed access. How do I share files from my pc to my mac via an ethernet connection?
We have our files set up in the shared folder of the pc with the share to the network option checked, but we don’t know what to do on the mac end to get them over.
